My dear friend Rachel Blumberg and I collaborated on what would become these pop songs. It was a way to explore working together again after years of playing and conjuring together. It was an excuse for me to unabashedly write pop songs, and to not think about how they would fit onto an album. I felt like a musician who could step outside my own personal creative boundaries and have some fun as a singer/songwriter. Run Wild and Walk Me Home became songs people seemed to respond to, and many have messaged me asking me to make them available on streaming platforms. I’m so happy to have such a great response from songs Rachel and I had so much fun making.
